A Note from the Owner : Choosing a place to get away can be hard and finding the right room can be a big choice too. Let me help a bit....We are an 1880's private home which was converted to an Inn in the early 1980s. All of our rooms have been renovated and all our bathrooms and fixtures are modern. That being said the baths are not spacious. We have only six rooms which may be surprising because the building looks large from the outside with the beauty of porches and water abound. We are the type place that you come to enjoy the views and relax take off your shoes . 

If you feel like you may need more space I suggest either our Independence Suite - a Large room or the Harborview. If you feel like you prefer a larger bath I suggest the Point. If Quiet and privacy is what you prefer I suggest Sunset Cove, "The best sleeping room."  The Seabreeze, Balcony room is many of our repeats guests' favorite room even with it's smaller bath. Many women traveling alone enjoy it.

And Captains Quarters may not have a view but if does offer two nice amenities air conditioning  and a compact refrigerator.

We do not hold any functions or events at the Point Independence Inn & Spa. Also we do not hold or block out groups of rooms in advance.

All of our rooms provide iron, ironing boards, hairdryers, and all have compact refrigerators but Sunset Cove. There are no tvs in the rooms. we do have a tv room. We DO NOT allow any cooking or heating of foods with appliances you provide yourself (rice cooler, crock pots, mini appliances or plug in coolers) in room, and please no candles unless for religious purposes then we ask you let us know so we may guide you to where to leave them. We do not offer any Kosher items.

We are an 18 an older property. We are not suitable for children.
